- Comprehensive Examination
- Major English Examination

2. Minimum Eligibility Requirements for Each Examination
(1) Comprehensive Examination
- Students who have earned at least 18 coursework credits as of the previous semester are eligible to apply.
- Thesis research credits are not included in this requirement.
(2) Major English Examination
- Students who have earned at least 12 credits as of the previous semester are eligible to apply.
- Prerequisite courses and transferred credits are not counted toward this requirement.
(3) Thesis Defense
- The thesis shall be evaluated by three or more examiners appointed upon review and approval by the Graduate School Committee.
